Interesting Photo....

I like this shot because it shows the use of Zelts as camouflage but also because of the lack of gear on the soldiers. You can clearly see their belts being worn and the NCO’s MP40 ammo pouches, but nothing else... No breadbag no gasmask canister no water bottle.

Before everyone starts shedding their equipment I’ll just say this appears to be a exception and not a role type of photo.

German Bling!....

Die Fusilier Zug is not against combat badges or decorations either. Lets face it, studying photos you see allot out there. We DO however Insist that they are worn with rank and age in mind.

A Example would be, a young (or over aged) Private may have one maybe two awards, We would prefer they would be in black ( If you don’t understand that just ask). to have a private with the Infantry badge in gold, a Silver Wound Badge and 16 tank destruction badges would be a bit unbelievable.

Again if you need guidance and want to add some German Bling to your tunic, just ask.

Die Fusilier Zug

“Die Fusilier Zug” is a group of hobbyists dedicated to a historically accurate portrayal of soldiers from a German army Fusilier battalion. we aim to keep our impression as “genric” as possible to fit in no matter what scenario is being run. While authenticity in both Battle drill and uniforms is our goal, we do not forget that this is a hobby and that we all seek to have fun.

While located in Northern Delaware, we have members as far south as Northern VA.

Uniform that we prefer you acquire first...

M43 Trousers

M40 or M43 Heer tunic

M40 or M42 Stahlhelm

Water bottle

Breadbag

Belt and Heer buckle (belt lthr)

Suspenders (Infantry) (lthr)

Bayonet and bayonet frog (Lthr)

Metal Gasmask Canister.

M43 field hat (w/heer insignia)

The weapon we Suggest is the MP44/STG44, there are several makes available. You will want to have Mp 44 Ammo Pouches, it is not incorrect to only have one pouch.

We are not Anti Camouflage but we request that you concentrate on base equipment first and consult with us before purchasing Camo items ( for instance, Tan and Water may be more appropriate for us then splinter smocks)

If you need help or advice, we will be happy to help you...PLEASE, contact us before you order anything from ebay... it is better to pay a little more for something then to be stuck with a cheaper incorrect piece.
